Aren’t there ways of going state-to-state by using roads without checkpoints instead of major highways where there is one?
Yes in most areas there are ways around the checkpoints, smugglers surely know all of these routes. I am stunned that checkpoints away from the border in those areas catch anyone or anything but it does happen.
