Juvie Girls Confess To Contract Killing

Forget about blessing the beasts and the children; sometimes the children are just beasts.

Two teen girls -- one 13, the other 15 -- have confessed to gunning down a man in Guatemala City as reported by the Deccan Herald: "Criminal organizations are hiring and training minors as contract killers to exploit provisions in Guatemalan law that exempt minors from prosecution for such crimes, Interior Minister Mauricio Lopez said."

Gutemalan crime groups must be pulling a page from the playbook of the Mexican drug cartels.

In December 2010 Mexican authorities arrested Edgar Jimenez a/k/a El Ponchis or The Cloak, an American-born 14-year-old boy who admitted to beheading at least four people on behalf of the South Pacific Cartel, which spotlighted the use of child narcos in the drug trade as reported by Ioan Grillo for Time magazine:

"Youth prisons in Mexico are now full of minors who have been arrested for crimes linked to the drug war. Most of the inmates had been convicted of drug-related murders, kidnapping and drug trafficking. Oswaldo Hogaz, a prison official in Juarez, Mexico, states: 'These kids are cheap, bloodthirsty, and they know the government can't punish them much.'"

In 2009 police in Laredo, TX reported that Los Zetas signed up U.S. teenagers as young as thirteen years old to carry out enforcement hits on the north side of the border as then reported by Ed Lavandera for CNN. Two such teens -- Rosalio Reta and Gabriel Cardona -- now are serving lengthy prison sentences for their roles in several murders, and Reta admitted that he made his first kill at 13: "I thought I was Superman. I loved doing it, killing that first person."

It's a mad world.

Picking up some tips from our gangs. The thugs in NY would always get somebody just under the legal limit to carry out the actual killing (or take “credit” for it).

I think minors (in any country) need to be made a lot more accountable than they are. If they’re old enough to kill somebody, they’re old enough to get punished for it.

There have been youth gangs in American cities for a long time, but I I haven’t heard that they’ve been used like this by adult gang leaders. Mostly they’re just in training for when they come of age—and defending their turf.

Hey, they don’t pay no mind
If you’re under 18 you won’t be doing any time
Hey, come out and play

Yes, it was a big thing in NYC to have 12 or 13 yr olds pull the trigger, the younger the better (because while they got some time if they were between 16-18, they got virtually no time if they were under 16).

Yes, exactly. I’m sorry, but I don’t think youth is an excuse...the only thing “youth” should do is ensure that the older person who inducted them into the gang and set them up for this gets the death penalty as well.

It’s true that minors who commit crimes should be punished accordingly like an adult would. But minors should be protected by socieity against moral corruption, and any adult who participates in the moral corruption of minors should pay a heavy price for crossing that line.

Conservatives have come to reject the idea that public society behaves by standards that are protective of the innocence of children because liberals have bastardized the sentiment to push socialism “for the chilrun.”

Have they? Or do they just reject the idea that protecting the innocence of children requires banning for adults what is unacceptable for children?

Given the subject matter of the article here, (cartels hiring children for murder) I find your “question” incredibility shallow and stupid.

Are you a liberal-tarian by any chance? LOL

Oh, so you were claiming that conservatives have come to reject the idea that children should not be hired to murder? Have any evidence for that surprising claim?

Any kids like this are so broken that they need to euthanized. For their sake, and for society’s.
