Geography challenged much? Réunion is in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar, fer cryin' out loud!
There is a small town named La Réunion between Bordeaux and Toulouse in Western France.
Maybe this is what they mean?
Certainly don’t consider myself ‘geography challenged’ smart alec, but I think you are right.
I check EVERYTHING in my posts, but a quick Google search yesterday pulled up a small island with the same name in France proper.
She’s also ‘Miss Reunion’ so I doubt they’d make such a fuss if it weren’t the former colony off Africa
