I don’t think that’s universally true. I go to one and they are VERY good. They don’t take medicaid patients, and only take medicare if you have supplemental insurance.
I supposed there are some good ones. I think they just get so used to handing out allergy meds and antibiotics that they don’t know much else.
I went to urgent care when I broke my foot last year and they frayed right there and also made an appointment for Monday morning (it was saturday) for me to see the ortho dr was given crutches and told not to walk on it at all.
