President Obama - The State Of The Union Requires More Government Investments
Political Realities ^ | 02/12/13 | LD Jackson

There are some things that are as dependable as the sun and the moon. No matter what happens, the sun always rises in the east and sits in the west. The moon will shine its light on the night until God says it is enough. And the left-wing liberals will always want more government spending. That's what we will hear from President Obama in his State of the Union address tonight. No matter what happens with our economy, boom or bust, his answer always seems to be more government spending. Of course, he will probably refrain from calling it government spending, sticking to terms such as "investments", but the results will be the same. We will pay more taxes and the government will spend more money.

(Fox News) The president is expected to revive his calls Tuesday for government "investments" in infrastructure and education -- meaning spending. He'll focus on economic growth, while acknowledging the need to close the deficit through a combination of budget cuts and tax increases.

"The core emphasis that he has always placed in these big speeches remains the same, and it will remain the same -- the need to make the economy work for the middle class," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said.

He declined to get into specifics, but said the speech will focus on "proposals that are necessary to help the middle class grow and to help the economy grow."

Am I the only one who is sick of hearing the phrase "a balance approach"? Every time President Obama talks about how to make our economy grow and how to cut the deficit, he says it will take "a balanced approach". He explains that this means a combination of spending cuts and tax increases. Except all we have seen thus far is tax increases. We are still waiting on the spending cuts. It's a good thing we aren't holding our breath. Even though many Americans want our government to cut spending, President Obama seems oblivious to our calls. He believes he has a mandate and he is pushing his 2nd-term agenda to the hilt. He'll be twisting the blade tonight. I can hardly wait to hear what he has to say. Who knows, the Democrats in Congress may stand up and start chanting, "spending, spending, spending".

Will this administration ever admit its policies are failing the American people? Given Obama's propensity to push his agenda, no matter what we say or do, I would say, probably not. He has already outlined the direction his 2nd term will take in his inaugural address. I expect him to give more specifics in his speech tonight. More of the same tactics, tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend. Sigh..........

Wrong-O, Nutso!

The health of this sick nation requires you to slink away into the sewer from whence you came.

Actually the health of this country demands that the elite government all go away, and leave us alone.

What they want is for us to “invest” in their crimes and corruptions, so that they can have a big laugh riot party- sex romp- drunk fest- and we can live in Hell, worrying about our children and scratching out some happiness.

But we all already knew that.

Tyranny is what it is.

He will also say he needs to tax the rich again.

The rich being anyone with a job.

Just like a left-wing liberal to respond with attacks when challenged on their spending principles.

If you wanted to wreck a nation, you couldn’t choose a better path that Obama is on, under the guise of trying to save it. This once great nation is lost to the lazy low-life dems, illegals, cheaters & thieves. Too bad working class dems refuse to open their stupid eyes.

Boy Zer0 will push his usual bevy of lies:

1. The last administration left us with a huge hole.. much deeper than thought.

2. We’re making “progress,” saving and creating millions and millions of jobs, but not as much as we’d like.

3. Government has a role to play in economic recovery, thereby more “investments” in infrastructure are needed.

4. Millionaires and billionaires can and should contribute more.

5. Congress must act to avoid the disaster of sequestration (never mind it was Obama’s idea).

6. “Sensible” gun control is needed and is worthwhile if it saves even one life of a child.

7. Green energy is our future, thereby additional investment is needed.

And the sheeple with tingle themselves into a joyful frenzy.

Yeah. I use to have a job.
I’m chomping at the bit, and I’m for force.

April is coming up.

There should be a tax revolt and forced removal by shear numbers. We need to push this over the cliff.

Everyone just seems to be just greasing up their ass!!!!!!!

I would love to hear what Dr. Benjamin Carson would have to say about the “State of th Union” speech. We are starved for logic and reason, not propaganda.

Now HE would be the right guy to give the rebuttal speech.

Look for him to call for more High speed choo choo..

Much to the sadness of the eurinal wannabes on the left, the high speed choo choo is too out of style to enjoy a resurgence.

This year, all the kids are wearing alternative energy investments in wind, solar, and geothermal. They also favor large scale urban transportation projects that never seem to ever arrive at the moving real people stage, even after billions are "invested" in the projects.

It's only common sense to have a balanced approach.

Otherwise the continental US might capsize.

Ted Nugent to Attend State of the Union
Monday, February 11, 2013 06:43 PM

A Republican congressman says he’s invited rocker Ted Nugent, who has referred to President Barack Obama’s administration as “evil, America-hating,” to the State of the Union address.

Rep. Steve Stockman of Texas said Monday on his website that Nugent will be his guest for the president’s speech Tuesday night. Stockman has talked of impeaching Obama over his gun control proposals.
