So are you content to just be a bystander? My intent is not to provoke you or start an argument, but I ask you to consider what I have to say.
We are organizing a rally in Tulsa, OK. Our flyer reads: "ARE YOU WILLING TO TURN IN YOUR GUNS? In cities across America, Gun owners and Patriots are going to rally to remind Washington to honor the Constitution and, in particular, protect the Rights granted all Americans under the Second Amendment." The point is to "push back" against the current push to radically alter our gun rights. It is almost certain congress will reject Obama's gun grab, out of fear from their voters, but Obama is going to count on the UN, via the small arms treaty, to begin the disarmament process. Once the UN treaty is signed by Obama, it will be up to the Senate to override the UN treaty. This is a way to let Senators who do not vote down the small arms treaty know they run a serious risk of seeing their cushy careers come to an end. As Thomas Jefferson said, "What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not worried from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?"
