For anyone unfamiliar with the Southern Poverty Law Center, you would not gain much insight judging by their name. Rarely, if at all does anything they do relate to poverty, except maybe to bring some citizens closer to it. Granted, some of the work they do is for the good. The SPLC is a private organization with strong ties to the federal government, namely the FBI, the BATF and the DOJ. They primarily infiltrate, investigate and collect data on organizations that have been labeled as Hate Groups. Then, they turn this information over to federal authorities, providing the evidence to initiate formal investigations. Some examples of the organizations that they have targeted in the past are the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations and the Aryan Brotherhood. These organizations are most definitely racist hate groups by almost any standard. The Southern Poverty Law Center played a lead role in the investigatory work done to control the proliferation of these groups, which is a great accomplishment. That being said, they do have a quite tarnished past as well and have often found themselves on the wrong side of an issue and the wrong side of history itself.
Imagine my surprise while doing some research recently when I came across an Intelligence File on Pamela Geller on the Southern Poverty Law Centers website. After overcoming the initial shock and dismay, I could not believe the degree of bias and prejudice that was falsely assigned to her. (...)

Even the “good” work you say they do is questionable. I am NOT a fan of the KKK or the Aryan Brotherhood. But as long as they refrain from actually doing anything, it’s hard to see why they are any worse than, let’s say, the Muslim Brotherhood, which has a large role in our current government. Or the Nation of Islam, which declares that white people are evil tools of Satan, and hangs out in Chicago. Or even the NAACP, which fights for special privileges for blacks and denies them to whites.
The very term “hate crime” is extremely questionable, since it is based on what people think, and not what they actually do. If they rob or kill, punish them. If they merely hate, then that’s unfortunate, and should be condemned, but not persecuted by the government.
“Hate crime” was a stupid, even an evil, ideological invention.
There is NOTHING good about the Southern Poverty Law Center. It is a propoganda spreading hitman for the progressive agenda. They are a major part of the hate/racism meme of the left and responsible for developing strategies to take down those who disagree with their homosexual, communist, big government agenda. They attacked Chick fila, the American Family Association, Focus on the Family as they progress society towards branding Christianity a hate group. They are attempting to marginalize constitutional republicans through their attacks/reports on sovereign citizens, gun owners and identity Christians. They have developed a program which is referred to as intelligence updates for/by law enforcement that is TAUGHT through our community colleges as required hours for LEO training. They are teaching our LEOs that conservative Christian Constitutional citizens are potential terrorists!!!!!
Do not believe me! Do not believe what anybody tells you!. Do your own research. Go to their website and read. Dig deep through the links. Google topics like NRA versus Southern Poverty law center. These people are progressive hitmen and they intend to facilitate the destruction of this nation and our freedom.
Southern Poverty Law Center is a dangerous HATE group.
Oh, I agree. I first heard of the Southern Poverty Law Center not long after they were founded, when they sent someone to speak in our local parish. The priest was evidently taken in. They pretended to be collecting money for the poverty-sticken Appalachians. I was suspicious after hearing what was said, and did not donate. Sure enough, it quickly became clear what they were, when they started going after abortion protestors and the like.
Southern Poverty Law Center is a dangerous HATE group.

I heard they are in bed with the westborough baptists too.
