The large table monopolizes the waitress from earning elsewhere. Then to use Jesus as an excuse to not pay for the service is IMO low class.
I think I'd rather give a tip to the waitress than 10% of my wages to this pastor, that is for sure.
I think the pastor got her license from Popeye's Chicken or something. No way that was an educated Pastor who wrote that dumb statement.
Never leave a note in PUBLIC you don't want in the public.
Methinks that ‘pastor’-ess is a member of one of those churches that promote socialism (that the gov should take care of the flock). IE....Black Liberation Theology. Not a church at all. As with Jim Jones.
IMHO as a believer, she reflects poorly as a witness. I usually do 20% unless service is bad and depending on if the bad service is the server’s fault or something to do more behind the scenes.
> It was a female Pastor who enjoys getting 10% of the wages from her flock who thought it was wrong to give an 18% tip to a waitress for serving her LARGE table full of people.
How do you know the tipper was a female pastor? If so then that really is pathetic. To call the restaurant and demand someone be fired? This person should be shamed and then some. Were I a member of whatever church I would find another church. This person does not represent my Lord.
James 2:19-20
You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believeand tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
