I keep telling everyone, he was firing at the trap before it launched the clay. It was the only hope he would hit something.
The only thing I can figure for aiming so low is,,,Station 1, trying to hit the clay as soon as it emerges from the Low House. Certainly not a “Doubles” shot. I will admit to doing that occasionally, if I’d had way too much coffee that morning! Certainly not the traditional method, but some days I felt very “fast!”
I don’t skeet shoot- but it has happened alot in our yard with my hubby,friends, and our older kids.
