One is bi-racial (and in the Air Force reserves now as well as gainfully employed) and the other is white. There was a time when I qualified for reduced price school lunch for both of them (I was divorced and received no child support but worked two jobs). My bi-racial son NEVER EVER EVER got audited although the information on his application was identical to my daughter's. My daughter got audited EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Most of these bureaucracies don't want any "trouble" from community organizers so they just look the other way and approve them for assistance. White people, on the other hand are put through several flaming hoops and the standard application grist mill.
That is a very interesting anecdotal story! Just amazing, 2 kids from the same family getting a different treatment!!
