The East Germans showed what common people can do when they’ve had enough. They simply sat down and did not go to work. No doctors, no teachers, no store owners to keep groceries on the shelves, no utility workers keeping the water flowing and the lights on. Society stopped producing the necessities of life. There is no government in the world that can stay afloat when the people say, “Do it yourself. I quit.”
So true. People don’t recognize the power they hold. But these days you don’t find self reliance very often.
