I think the author is sorely mistaken. Many people are not stupid. Far from it. After the first few shootouts, smart people with guns will get to work. The tyranists will not be safe anywhere. Neither will their homes and family.

Hmmm....did you mean “tyrants”, or have you coined a new word which seems to mean “those who enable tyrants, work for them, and see their own self-interest in so doing”.

There are about 12 million large game hunters in the United States. That means you have 12 million people with rifles that are suitable for sniping and know how to use them. If ten percent of those will stand for their rights under the 2nd amendment they will not take our weapons.

To stand and fight them at your door is the way to lose the battle as they have then defined the conditions of combat. The good guys must define the conditions not those that would disarm us.
