You can keep your guns. But, you will pay dearly and eventually have them confiscated anyway

Civil disobedience is order, and civil is the operative word. Do not register any weapon. It will make it more difficult for them to confiscate. If they do attempt to confiscate, civil is no longer the operative word.

Now this is really important, so take some time and think about. At the time of confiscation, the operative word becomes "offensive". For positive imagery purposes, think of the British retreat from Lexington and Concord back to Boston. That is what Americans do to tyrants that try to confiscate our weapons.

You're right. See my post 18, great minds think alike and all that.

The Feds can't use the Constitution against us unless we allow it.

And what is this krap about the Supreme Court being the end all be all? They are not supreme beings, and must follow the constitution. BTW, I'm pretty sure a Supreme Court justice can be impeached, constitutionally.

But they don't want the unwashed to remember that, do they?

It's unhealthy to bottle up feelings. Go ahead and express your true feelings.

Tell us what you really think.

If he can get two, it may be over, because who are you going to appeal to?

The only problem is that the Supremes are already on thin ice legitimacy-wise when they rule on cases involving the feds, at least if they find in the feds favor, because they've ruled in favor of their own paymasters! If you've ever watched a civil or criminal trial, they won't even let you participate as juror or judge if you so much as KNOW one of the parties, let alone work for them.

It boggles the mind that any individual or state takes SCOTUS rulings seriously when they rule for the feds. They go any farther than they've already gone, I'm sure many no longer will.

It's a moose bite kind of thing. You may as well get over it, because it ain't going away.

Another way of looking at it is "Sheesh, how long can freepers keep a dead meme on life support?"

I'll tell you when I get out of the shower.

Your question is understandable. Do I guess correctly that you are well under age 40?

Leaders arise when it is their time, and often from unexpected places. Leaders will not be found within the present GOP.

Yes, the age question has relevance. :-)

Registration, licensing, short-term licensing requiring frequent renewal with ever-increasing licensing cost ...

It’s unconstitutional to license a right.
