tweet earlier this week inidcated the Westboro Baptist Church is having a difficult time maintaining members. Margie Phelps tweeted on Jan. 7, Our children are leaving us in number not seen before. Phelps added, Its impossible to stop them. However, @WBCMediaContact tweeted that the message came from an imposter account.
Children as young as three are given picket signs to protest at funerals and other high profile events alongside adult WBC members. Children are raised in a culture of hating anything and everyone that disagrees with the Westboros interpretation of the Bible. That is pretty much anyone who isnt part of their church made up almost entirely of members of their own family.

Westboro = creation of Democrat party.
And then, these children go to school, where peer pressure and shame; force them to confront what they are a part of. Where other children say "Why did you do that? How Christ-like was it to torment a family, during perhaps the worst time of their life?"
Without parental intervention - some kids can take a more adult perspective of actions, that some so-called Adults are too proud to acknowledge. For example, you would never see a local group of kids, on their own, do the shameful actions that the Westborough Church is known for.
With a membership of 40 or so it doesn’t take many leaving to make their membership decline rapidly. Isn’t Phelps in his 80s? If so maybe his ability to inspire is failing with age.
I’m just guessing; but, I bet the Phelps use home schooling.
I live in Topeka, ground zero for the WBC...WBC is the only term local media will use for the group, when reporting on them, because they don’t want to give free publicity by using the full name. National media have not caught on.
Its before my time in Topeka; but, the young kids used to walk around town, selling candy bars. They would knock on the door to our office, and come in to try and sell. It could be raining or 2 degrees outside...but they weren’t allowed to go back to the compound, until the candy bars were sold. My boss says he was very conflicted. He would encourage the kids to stay inside for a few minutes...but they weren’t allowed to do that. So, he occassionally bought the whole box, out of concern for the child...thus he was supporting the Phelps clan.
BTW, Child Protective Services et al are fairly neutered when it comes to the Phelps. They have a successful track record of suing the local government over any type of intervention...so they are mostly left alone.
I thought they only had about 10 members
I just bet they did.

Now that’s what I call “an inconvenient truth”.
Not true at all.
Check out their creator. He was an active Dem activist.
The Democrat Party better start funneling more money to them under the table.
They are funded by the Democrats to stir up feelings against Bible-believing Christians.
I should have added, where does all the money come from to allow them to fly all over the country constantly to conduct their “protests”?
They even came to Hawaii once and protested in front of my church. Who knows why, we are pretty conservative.
Their media escapades in Hawaii. They are a total media creation by the Phelps family, they don’t really exist:

Of course, the mainstream media will not investigate who they really are.
