I do not doubt for one second that the communists will exterminate a plethora of innocents if they think it will make them the sole possessors of firearms, ruling over a disarmed fearful cowed citizenry. These are the same people who gave AK47s to the Sinaloa cartel to enhance their control over the drug trade in the US, and place firearm sales in the US in doubt.
History is replete with such examples of tyranny. Americans will not fall for it. In the beltway and the progressive communist scheming halls, the nationalist socialists and communists are way out of touch with the heartbeat of America. Matt Bracken had a great article about that yesterday.
I have a hard time deciding whether the left is delusional (actually believes what they say) or if it’s a whole puffed up Wizard of Oz kinda thing. Doesn’t matter, I guess. It is what it is. I, too, put nothing past them. Some of their doofy, idealistic (more harmless) followers are in for a big shock.
