The questions are this.
Is there any hope for the country to return or change to what you want it to be?
Is there another country that is closer to what you are looking for?
And most importantly.

Is the life of you or your family at risk if you stay?

That is why people emigrate.

This country will repeat the exact same cycle which other countries went through. Greece, Russia, China, etc all had thriving economies once. Then people found out they could get free stuff by voting in the socialists.

After experiencing ravages of socialism for several decades, some woke up and turned back to capitalism. China for example now has one million new millionaires and middle class is 50 times bigger than during their communist abyss.

So, I expect US to become increasingly socialist (= big gov’t), suffer economic abyss, then turn back. But not until 2040 at the earliest, more likely after 2050.

Mobility is the greatest weapon we have as conservatives. When France put forth a 75% tax the wealthy fled. The only chance socialism has is to stomp out conservatism in every country. If we remain mobile we can continue to reward countries that respect freedom and enterprise. Come to Canada my American friends.

Good questions...

1. Yes
2. No
3. Not at this time

I can’t think of a single place in this world I would want to live other than right here. I hope I never have to pick up and leave.
