I've only heard about it in the last 10 years. They certainly didn't have it in the HS I went to back around 1980. As far as I'm concerned,
every class we took should have been an AP class compared with today's schools. Our grade scale was this:
- A | 95-100
- B | 88-94
- C | 81-87
- D | 76-80
- F | 75 or below
I’ve always been amazed, if you look at it like a dart board, it’s harder to get a ‘D’ than any other grade.
