but I always wonder.....do people that ditch the country of their birth have NO family or friend here ?....I mean, what kind of person would go live in a third world country and leave family and friends?....children?...parents?..brothers?...sisters?...Nada?....nothing and nobody must care about them....

I have a daughter (30) in Memphis, and twin brothers in California, both lusting to get out and come here.
My daughter is online with us 24/7 and enjoying her new baby brother.
Yes, this is a third world country, and I contribute to making it better. I have a wife and child, not “girlfriends”.
I lived a number of years in former Communist countries of Europe before moving here.
