Shoppers disappoint retailers???? Not the way my wife shopped.

I'm in her club, lol. I spent $40 total for 1 Christmas gift. I am so happy to have contributed that much to the economy. That gift was for 1 Downs grandson, all the others got CASH.

Over the years I have always given Savings Bonds, just this year one of my grandsons cashed in and bought a used car. All the toys I could have bought over the years, would have been discarded, broken or garage saled. Now he has a car, and understands what I did for him.

When they reach age 20, I give them nothing.

I noticed that in the days before Christmas people had food items in their carts, not presents. People must have got their presents right after Halloween and through Amazon. From Halloween to Thanksgiving a great flurry then nothing.
