I live on a military base so we are unarmed.

We have to keep the guns locked in one case and the ammo in another locked box. If we have a CCL, we have to pull over before we come onto post, unload our weapon and lock the gun and the ammo up in the trunk.

Then we wonder why our trained soldiers were mowed down on Ft. Hood.

What kills me is the irony of hearing Leftists say, “Only police and soldiers should have guns...”

Really? So why can’t my trained soldier husband carry a gun? Or even have one loaded in the house?

It's not just the soldiers, sailors and airmen that serve, but families, too.

The base I work at has an armory where we have to turn our weapons over to them while on base and pick them up when we leave. They strongly urge us to use the same box the gun came in so it is neat and easy for them. Then, for Active Shooter rules of engagement, they tell us to hide and cower in fear until the shooter is right there and ready to shoot you, then go ape on him by throwing staplers at him while vigorously fighting for your life.
