The weird thing about it is that sometime during a rare DC “blizzard”, someone had the “foresight” to look for and find a huge ribbon to tie on the dog, get the camera, walk out in front of the WH just to snap a shot for a future Christmas card. Because I doubt this was Photoshopped, but if it was, it’s a pretty big FAIL. Extremely lame for a Christmas card.
Now that you mention it .. there was NO snow accumulation in DC and environs during the balmy ‘11-’12 winter. In either ‘09 -’10 or ‘10-’11 we had LOTS of snow (3 @ 20”).
I can’t remember when they got the dog, but this photo, if not photoshopped, is at least from 2 winters ago.
