I'm betting you're right. Since he's now in his second term he's "more flexible" and can wizz off his base without consequence. He's been doing it to "Holders people" since 2008, short changing on his promises while kissing up to the gay crowd. He wizzes down their backs and tells them it's rain and they lap it up. There is no hope they will ever rebel, it's not in them.
