Coombs said he speaks on the phone with Manning every week, and described him as "one of the most intelligent people I have ever met."

It appears as though Coombs hasn't met anybody even remotely intelligent, then. All this loser Manning had to do, to obtain what he wanted was to merely wait six months to a year, doing absolutely nothing. Instead he took classified materiel, and gave it out in an apparent hissy fit.

If *that* is considered 'intelligent' by Coombs, then Coombs doesn't understand the definition of the word, "intelligent"...

You have to have a 110 GT score to qualify to become an intelligence analyst in the US Army. I know this because I was one. That’s the same score you need for West Point, OCS, ROTC, etc. Having said that, a high IQ doesn’t mean you’re wise or will make good choices. I cannot imagine anyone I went through school with or worked beside doing anything like PFC Manning did.

"gave it out in an apparent hissy fit."

Let's be frank, it was a sissy fit.
