Perhaps his point is that the State of Oklahoma did not cave to liberals to abandon their conservative principles, and have managed to remain conservative?

How is it conservative to take more taxes than you pay in? In 2008 Oklahoma received $1.24 for every $1.00 paid.

Hmmm. A 24 - 25 year average that only spans from 1981 to 2005. So, the years between the founding of Oklahoma and 1980, and the seven years since 2005 are not accounted for. I’m unable to accurately assess your point considering the amount of missing data.

Why do you keep harping on that? The majority of people in OK are NOT in favor of the Federal money that goes to welfare. They hate it, it just proves a point.
