Americans enjoy watching the action, following their favorite teams and escaping from the problems they face in their everyday lives. Americans who watch Sunday Night Football don’t tune in to hear sports anchors editorialize about gun control.

His muscle mass alone made this guy a walking weapon. Combine that with his boozing habit and his tendency to attack women and he was bound to kill someone eventually.
The gun was merely an incidental tool.
