The Mexican drug cartels once again have taken deadly aim against U.S. law enforcement.
This time the narco terrorists intentionally rammed their smuggling panga boat against an approaching Coast Guard inflatable which resulted in the death of Chief Petty Officer Terrell Horne III and the injury of another guardsman after they fell into the sea off the southern California coast as reported by the Los Angeles Times. Two suspects have been detained.
The narco insurgents from Mexico increasingly are targeting U.S. officials on both sides of the border: last August two CIA officials were injured in a shooting ambush against their U.S. diplomatic vehicle on a highway south of Mexico City; in Feburary 2011 Los Zetas killed ICE agent Jaime Zapata and wounded his partner who were driving along a highway in the state of San Luis Potosi in a vehicle with U.S. diplomatic tags; in December 2010 the Sinaloa cartel murdered U.S. border patrol agent Brian Terry in southern Arizona; in March 2010 the Juarez cartel whacked U.S. consulate employee Lesley Ann Enriquez and her husband El Paso sheriff's deputy Arthur Redelfs as they were returning home from a child's birthday party in Ciudad Juarez.
Meanwhile, President Obama who is charged with securing the border, protecting the people and defending the nation cynically insists that there is no cartel-related spillover violence as he steps over the corpses of federal agents and officials on the blood-soaked ground.
Rice has learned her WH lines verbatim----"those poor drug kingpins were forced to respond by killing a US service man and harming another in what used to be American waters....."
Not to worry---Ohaha will do his part----sending gallon jugs of Tabasco to Mexican govt officials as he plans his suck-up tour---puckering up on bended knee to Mexico.
A WH ceremony is already planned----Ohaha will award the Congressional Medal of Honor to Mexican drug lords for their bravery in killing an American (sniffle).
I lived in California for 30 years and never visited Mexico.
Of course, by 2006, I didn’t need to visit Mexico, because I was living in it.

BOL! Our yard guy, who has been our yard guy and a US citizen for close to 2 decades used to go to Mexico to visit his family during the holidays. After his parents died he did the holidays a little different.
A couple of years ago, he told us that he was heading south to see his relatives. I noticed that he was winking and grinning a little.
On his return, I asked how his trip was. He said Mexico north was great. I asked what Mexico north was, and he said LA. He and his brothers up here rented some homes in LA and had some of their relatives down south come to LA. He said that it upset his two kids, 10 and 13, because everyone spoke Mexican in Mexico North. He said the gang problem in Mexico North, aka, LA was probaby as dangerous as being in Mexico.
Our house cleaning lady for about the same time period is a US Citizen and has her own business. She stopped going to Mexico about ten years ago, when her American BIL was kidnapped and held for ransom for a few months. She has her mother, aunt and sister fly up here. She refuses to go to Mexico.

In 2005, one of my business associates in California was robbed, and kidnapped and held for ransom by the COPS.
He escaped his hotel room, and made it home.
No thanks : )
