Mexican Drug Cartel Kills U.S. Coast Guardsman In Boat Attack Off California Shoreline

The Mexican drug cartels once again have taken deadly aim against U.S. law enforcement.

This time the narco terrorists intentionally rammed their smuggling panga boat against an approaching Coast Guard inflatable which resulted in the death of Chief Petty Officer Terrell Horne III and the injury of another guardsman after they fell into the sea off the southern California coast as reported by the Los Angeles Times. Two suspects have been detained.

The narco insurgents from Mexico increasingly are targeting U.S. officials on both sides of the border: last August two CIA officials were injured in a shooting ambush against their U.S. diplomatic vehicle on a highway south of Mexico City; in Feburary 2011 Los Zetas killed ICE agent Jaime Zapata and wounded his partner who were driving along a highway in the state of San Luis Potosi in a vehicle with U.S. diplomatic tags; in December 2010 the Sinaloa cartel murdered U.S. border patrol agent Brian Terry in southern Arizona; in March 2010 the Juarez cartel whacked U.S. consulate employee Lesley Ann Enriquez and her husband El Paso sheriff's deputy Arthur Redelfs as they were returning home from a child's birthday party in Ciudad Juarez.

Meanwhile, President Obama who is charged with securing the border, protecting the people and defending the nation cynically insists that there is no cartel-related spillover violence as he steps over the corpses of federal agents and officials on the blood-soaked ground.

part of the reason this is happening is because of infighting within DHS components, and cuts to operating budgets on those components.

Probably drug kingpins were acting on kill orders from the Mexican govt.

Mexico is pushing north at a furious space---salivating for reconquista and lusting for US foreign aid billions. Illegals---"Pressure groups"----are being pushed over the border--- financed and coached by the Third World.

Vote-crazed US pols will never criticize drug cartels for killing Americans---Mexico would be offended and that might lose pols those "precious" latino votes (cackle).

===========================================================================

Keep in mind, Mexico is the staging area for global terrorists to slip into the US.

HISTORY TELLS US A LOT----Nazi Germany was the leading importer of Mexican oil, taking just over half of their annual production....... To counter, American oil and gas production in Texas and Louisiana was elevated. Port Isabel, Texas' large oil refinery was a shipping point for fuel headed to the war, and was considered a possible target for German U-boat shelling or even a shore scurry.

The right thing here would have been to call up an A-10 or F-18 and pulverized the boat. Of course, in the era of O bama, that is going to happen like never.

Our enemies now full well they can attack us without impunity, because the U.S. is a weak, rudderless mess with no leadership. Obamamedia will obediently keep this quiet.. nothing will be announced, nothing reported. Silence is golden.

We can expect Susan Rice to go on the Sunday talk shows to “explain” what happened here.

obummer’s failure to act on events like this one, the border patrol officer who was killed as a result of “fast and furious” guns, and our foreign office ambassador, intelligence and military members will be totally overlooked or pushed under the rug by his administration and the media.

There is no justice. Not for our military, not for our border patrol, not for our foreign service officials.

To obummer everyone is expendable as long as he stays in the WH. No wonder 50% of America is pessimistic about our nation’s future. Its recent past hasn’t been too reassuring...

Any US citizen that goes to Mexico does so at their own risk, it is just stupid, that said and person associated with the government or LEO that goes there, for any reason is a fool. I got in trouble at a previous LEO work when I was asked to go into Mexico for meetings and refused. They also wanted me to move from a town an hour away from the border to a border town. I had little blond and red haired children, I said no thank you and quit before the transfer came through. (Just last straw I quit what used to be a great job)

This has nothing to do with budget cuts.

Our worthless Potus has signalled to the thugs around the world, that our military and LEO’s are fair game. There will be no massive response from our military and other agencies. They can kill and maim our personnel without worries of getting killed.

Federal Agent Killed When Drug Smuggler Rams Coast Guard Boat

A federal law enforcement officer was killed when a dope smuggler’s small craft rammed a Coast Guard boat in a midnight intercept of a marijuana load off the California coast, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

Four suspects are in custody and a manhunt is under way for at least two others who may have escaped to a coastal island.

According to sources, the incident took place early this morning, at approximately 1 a.m., when the Coast Guard intercepted two boats — a pleasure craft and a panga boat, which is a small, fast launch — near San Clemente Island, in Santa Barbara County.

The Coast Guard, according to initial reports, took the pleasure craft into custody and detained two occupants.

The Coast Guard cutter crew then lowered their smaller boat into the water in order to take custody of the individuals on the panga boat.

At that point the operation turned deadly.

As the Coast Guard small craft approached the panga, the driver of the panga rammed it and actually drove over the top of the boat, striking two agents and killing one of them.

Other members of the Coast Guard team took the occupants of the panga into custody, making for a total of four suspects in custody — two from the pleasure craft and two from the panga.

Sources said that authorities believed that two additional suspects were dropped off on Santa Cruz Island just before the interception of the two boats.

The Santa Barbara Sheriffs SWAT team was working with the U.S. Border Patrol today, searching Santa Cruz Island for additional suspects.

The small Coast Guard Boat that was rammed was taken to Oxnard.

Coast Guard officials said they planned to transport this boat, as well as the pleasure craft and panga boat to the Coast Guard Base in the Port of Los Angeles.

According to sources, the Coast Guard Investigative Services are requesting assistance from the Los Angeles Police Department Scientific Investigation Division forensics unit and photo unit.

Arrangements are under way to secure the vessels at the Port until Monday morning, when SID can respond.

The panga was operated by Mexican nationals, and the cargo was marijuana, law enforcement sources said.

Yep! She will explain how a Taco Bell tv ad about their new “mas” steak taco/burrito caused massive riots in LA and other Mexican controlled cities.

Then, these poor drug smugglers were forced to respond by killing a US service man and harming another in what used to be America waters.

“Any US citizen that goes to Mexico does so at their own risk!”

Which is why so many cruise lines are cancelling the previously planned trips into the cities and other areas of Mexico.

I think this may be a problem of an overly restrictive use of force policy. A larger boat turning toward an inflatable is and obvious ADW. The cutter has either M60’s or .50s and should have been allowed to fire on the panga boat.
