I would hope that there is a way you can obtain the ‘old drug’ through another doctor or clinic. Would it be feasible to stay a non-medicare patient of this doctor with only a visit every other or every third month, so that the cost wouldn’t be unbearable, but it would allow him to prescribe the drug for her?
