Wheeled vehicles are now and always have been easy to take out. Ask the kindergarten drop outs in Afghanistan.
Not to mention those types of vehicles are not combat platforms, you don’t fight from them. They are for traversing terrain only but the troops have to get out sometime; otherwise, they are just troops in a tin can doing nothing.
