My main point is that this requires LOWERING STANDARDS. Can you imagine affirmative action for heavy weight boxers? Or NBA centers? Or NFL linemen?
Yet in matters of life and death we lowered the standards and eliminated police officers and firemen who would have performed at a much higher level—just so some leftists can pursue a sick fantasy.
I do understand the point you make, and agree. Unfortunately, many people will read our postings and presume we have something against women in the workforce in general.
And nothing could be further from the truth.
