I live in California. I don’t buy the argument that Mexicans (that is what they call themselves) are natural conservatives. Our prisons are full of Mexicans. The girls get pregnant out of wedlock and go on welfare. The boys join gangs and wind up in prison. The parks in their neighborhoods have murals of Che Guevarra and communist slogans painted all over the place. Go to Chicano Park in San Diego and see for yourself (but don’t get out of your car). They vote to raise other peoples taxes. I seen nothing conservative in 99% of them.
I don’t live in the culture of California, although that does tend to ooze into other states through socialist politics and social pathologies.
