Hopefully, General P will expose the Obamadork for the sleezebag that we all know he is.

Anything otherwise will show that even well educated soldiers can be brought down by the slime that is liberalism.

And we will have no recourse but to rebel.

I think we already know, and the news ain’t good. And given that he’s got access to lots of important military and intelligence information and let the girlfriend have it we also know he never watched BSG. Luckily for him she doesn’t appear to be a cylon.

If Petraeus disappears or is silenced America if finished. Nothing has worked to educate ignorant Americans so far and without exposing Benghazi for what was, we are finished.

The Obama administration has threatened prosecution. Does that mean that Petraeus’s military pension is at risk?

Don’t expect too much from Petraeus’ hearing. I expect he will not provide anything too shocking. More of the same.

Obama and his team were smart enough to hold the release of his sexual exploits until after the election. If Petraeus’ was really a loose cannon, then they would also be smart enough 1) to keep the scandal secret and allow him to continue or 2) to still hold back even more, unknown parts of the scandal as leverage, to force him to tow the line during any hearings.

That is assuming Petraeus even has something incendiary to tell. He simply may not know as much as we think he does.

IF ... it is true our government is betraying our armed forces, and our presence (people) as Consulate in an American Embassy abandoned, ... We are lost as a government to be respected, standing strong against evil. When our Generals are compromised, and it is tolerated, we are no longer a Nation of HONOR. God Almighty, forgive us, and help us.

When there are no standards adhered to diligently, we are torn asunder. Very like a chicken with its head cut off ... still runs around before it falls dead.

Who do we trust? Who can we trust? And WHY? What is the point? To suppress and be oppressive to America's people?

To Live in Tyranny?

They say that character is defined by what you do when no one else is looking...but, the whole country is looking at Petraeus.

While I may be dead wrong, I like to think that the obama bunch was threatening to blackmail him into lying under oath, he defused the situation by publicly confessing to the affair, and resigning.

This theoretically frees him to testify with the truth about Benghazi.

Barring Arkancide, I hope his character is strong enough to step forward and tell the truth on the obama regime. He'll regain a lot of respect from Americans, even though he still has a lot of 'splainin' to do to his family.

I hope there is some truth to my assumption.

I have a tinfoily theory about what's going on with Petraeus: I think that by discrediting him, this regime is trying to get out in front of a potential military coup.

One thing that the military is known for is exhaustive contingency planning. IIRC, during the Cold War years, there was a plan to invade and occupy Quebec if it ever seceded from Canada and was taken over by communists. My belief is that somewhere in the Pentagon, there's a safe that only a very select few generals know about that contains a folder marked 'Coup d'Etat', which could only be opened if the civilian government became co-opted by our enemies.

And it's quite likely that Petraeus is one of only a few living generals that knows the combination. With one of the most respected military commanders since MacArthur neutered, it becomes much less likely that said safe could ever be opened.

We will soon know the REAL character of General David Petraeus

If you have to ask...

We already know. He pushed the video story. He cheated on his wife. What more do you need to know?

He'll carry Obama's water, like a good bureaucrat.

I heard Rush today diminish the hope of Petraeus saying anything to Congress that would be materially different from what he said weeks ago — a spontaneous eruption.

I submit that his character is already known...and it is lacking.

Petraeus offers to testify at House Benghazi hearings

RoosterRedux:

Here’s something interesting from a comment on this story at Hot Air...

Friend of mine who works in the pentagon has told me lastnight that petraeus was told to shut up about bhegazi and if he didnt, the white house was going to release the info about his girlfriend. I was told that it was petraues who leaked the affair to preempt the white house and tell the truth about libya.

The white house is trying to get him back in the ranks so they can threaten him with a demotion and take away his pension. My buddy told me who is a guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier told me the general is going to sing like a bird

More from the same thread linked above:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/11/14/petraeus-agrees-to-testify-on-libya-before-congressional-committees/

The logistics of Petraeus’ appearance are still being worked out. But a source close to Petraeus said the former four-star general has contacted the CIA, as well as committees in both the House and Senate, to offer his testimony as the former CIA director.

Fox News has learned he is expected to speak off-site to the Senate Intelligence Committee on Friday about his Libya report.

The House side is still being worked out.

We already know his character. If he been an normal person going for a security clearance he would have been denied for being of immoral character. Since he is willing to screw over many people in his private life, he is willing to screw over the rest of us.
