We need to bring back US jobs.
Working Americans are Republicans.
Every American who loses a job to a foreign company, becomes a democrat.
Really?
How do we do that?
Your competition outsources to other countries which keeps their costs low here so they can keep their employees and expand world wide.
They compete against other entities who are doing whatever it takes to control or increase their margin(profit), which goes back into the business for R&D, expansion and rainy days.
Take for instance United Airlines. They began outsourcing their maintenance for their fleet years before American Airlines was forced into it.
AA found itself competing against a stronger opponent and while their unions striked and complained about it, the reality was that if AA was to remain competitive, at least, and relevant in the marketplace they were going to have cut their costs as well.
I mean fuel costs about the same for everyone. Parts cost about the same but, the one area that is never the same is the cost for man hours to perform activities.
The more cost effective you are and even more importantly the more “producutive”, meaning you get more done by certain individuals or groups within your business than others can achieve, they you gain the advantage or put yourself on a level playing field to put you in a position where you can look at other opportunities for increasing productivity.
And I won’t get into the Apple scenario. I’m sure enough of us have heard about the why of getting your labor costs down per unit so your product fits into a consumer wallet for spend.
I can’t think of a way to bring jobs back other than to pay our people the same as those people at FoxCon get paid and no one is going to live like that in America.
