One thing that seriously hurt Romney’s chances of winning was the fact that he tried to pretend the Tea Party didn’t exist.

Heck, the Tea Party seemed to pretend the Tea Party didn't exist. I can understand why Sarah Palin might want to leave the campaigning to Romney and Ryan, but why didn't the Tea Party speak as loudly as it did in 2010? Were they miffed at Mitt's candidacy?
