There are 24 million Americans who have Flexible Spending Accounts, and doubtlessly many voted for Obama. In less than two months a new federally imposed $2,500 annual cap will take the place of the current $5,000
.There actually was no cap, just a guidance number.
Anyway, ask a liberal this question, "Why is healthcare, which you claim to be a "right", even taxed in the first place?" They will not have a coherent answer.

That cap will decimate Orthodontist, I heard of one that sold his practice, I am wondering if it was in anticipation of this. It also effects the parents of special needs kids and not in a good way, they are livid...

Heck, the’ve been, in effect, taxing God-Given, unalienable rights like “Life, Liberty & Pursuit of Happiness”, for years; why not healthcare? (rhetorical)
If it merely exists, they’ll tax it. That who and what they are...

Right. It should be noted though that if both spouses work and both make more than $2500/year, both can elect to contribute $2500 each.
And also, the Dep Care FSA remains unchanged at a $5K cap (thank goodness for me.)
