Heck, the’ve been, in effect, taxing God-Given, unalienable rights like “Life, Liberty & Pursuit of Happiness”, for years; why not healthcare? (rhetorical)
If it merely exists, they’ll tax it. That who and what they are...

There actually was no cap, just a guidance number.
Right. It should be noted though that if both spouses work and both make more than $2500/year, both can elect to contribute $2500 each.
And also, the Dep Care FSA remains unchanged at a $5K cap (thank goodness for me.)

That cap will decimate Orthodontist, I heard of one that sold his practice, I am wondering if it was in anticipation of this. It also effects the parents of special needs kids and not in a good way, they are livid...
Interesting and probably somewhat true but really I don't see it. Instead of saving $5K tax free you save $2500 tax free (a spouse can also do $2500 into the FSA is spouse also works). I wouldn't forgo braces for my kid because I was taxed on $2500 bucks.
But as a parent of a special needs 6 year old, yes, this would suck but my wife works so we're okay. Unless of course you have an HSA plan in which case you can not have a healthcare FSA. It's all a shell game.

Im hoping that the House defunds any Obamcare agency and that the states reject it. It seems thats all we have,
LOL. Thanks the hearty laugh. With Boehner as Speaker there will likely be over funding of Obamacare.
If anything thinks Boehner will do ONE thing to fight Obama, they are delusional.

And it has started.
Just now I received a call from my diabetes doctor's office. She is closing her practice as of December 20th. A few months ago she told me she would retire rather than practice under obamacare. During today's call I found out that another doctor in the practice was also quitting for the same reason.
This morning my husband scheduled an appointed with his ortho doctor to have his second knee replacement surgery. She told my husband "It is about time. After February the doctor will no longer be taking patients or do surgeries.
Do any of you have a doctor who plans on quitting his practice because of obamacare?

My Doctor retired this year. Even before Obamacare he was fed up with forms, delinquent payments for Insurance and Government, disputes and partial payments with same that took up a lot of his time, lawyers, rules, regulations, paperwork requirements and general business regulations in the State on top of the fed. His wife is a lawyer, the only reason he survived his years in practice. Insurance coverage ate up most of his income and it was hardly worth working just to pay liability insurance. He was fed up already. He is only 55 but threw in the towel.
