An attack on the media will be more effective than an attack on the dims, because like it or not, they do shape opinion. A strong public campaign can take away their legitimacy and credibility and 10% of the dims’ vote

May work, but consider the probability that these media operations are already running at a loss. Certainly MSNBC isnt actually making money. Rather, they are being subsidized as a propaganda operation. We can cut down some of their ad revenue but their owners have deep pockets, being as they are beneficiaries of government - i.e., crony capitalists.
General Electric for instance depends on government mandates and protections for much of its profits. Running a pro-Democrat propaganda unit even at a loss is a small quid pro quo.
