Oh I know I have read those articles about 2 different kosher officials having an issue about whether a place is adequately kosher. And which symbol is better. Ridiculous

Full disclosure, I am Catholic but have studied Judaism extensively because I love it. Have considered converting at various times, but with kids to consider, it is tricky.

I agree, but with the Kashrus thing, usually it’s a valid reason one symbol isn’t accepted. An example is the group that certified Hebrew National hotdogs. Their inspector who’s supposed to be in the factory was actually hundreds of miles away, so there was no way to be sure if the Hot Dogs were even Kosher. Now, people won’t eat the Hebrew National hot dogs and don’t trust the group that certifies them or anything else they certify for that reason.
