Reading the “internals” article to the bottom, the “Romney advisor” relates that they see the electorate as being Republican +1 or +2. When they say that, it means something. Also, this person stated that the Sandy Response did “dent” the lead with Indies, but that the “revenge” remark fallout is moving them back to Romney.

Scott Rasmussen is using a D+3 model, and says Romney is up +1. He said today that if that moves even 1 point, Romney gets 313 EV. If it's actually an R+2 instead of a D+3, that would be HUGH^TM (and SERIES^TM) especially, I think, for some of the down-ticket races we need.
