If you want actual news, you will have to spend more time on the internet - life is an internet connection (these days)!
Otherwise, you are stuck in the TV/Newspaper world and it is not pretty...heh.
No Newspapers or TV here, except the two connected to Roku and Blueray. The magazines from associations, rarely read.
What I would miss most about the internet, the inability to find about something of interest.
