Hurricane Sandy probably wont hit land until tomorrow evening, but according to Twitter users, some cities on the East Coast are already seeing flooding.

Your tax dollars at work in that last pic .. LOL
Obammy is going to send or promise so much cash to this area....I predict in 12 to 24 hours he and mooshell be on the tube crying and hugging victims.
I hope the banks in China and Saudi Arabia are open early...
I don’t want to lull anyone into complacence, but I live approx. one mile/five minutes from the beach in central New Jersey and have not yet seen or heard of any such flooding — I know some of these pics are south of here, but others are north of my location and have not been hit that hard yet. I do indeed wonder if the government officials are simply in post-Katrina panic mode. I wish I knew.
My section of town (which has a nearby canal linking to the bay, which reaches the barrier islands, on the other aside of which is the Atlantic Ocean) likely will be under mandatory evacuation at 4 pm today, yet I can stay at a cousin’s house five minutes on the other side of the same town. I may choose that option. How much safer would it be to drive in the wind and rain with all the panicky nuts on the road later?
I heard a statement from him (paraphrasing) that he would “cut through the red tape” and “never mind the rules” to get the states money and support. Since when did rules ever stop this guy...
Houses started falling into the Atlantic on Hatteras Island yesterday. I can only imagine what sunrise will reveal this morning.
I remember the perfect storm of 1991. Before it was called the “Perfect Storm” it was dubbed the Halloween storm. We watched a whole oceanfront street and every house and condo on that street succumb to the Atlantic.
All toll during the years I lived there from 1990-1995 I watched that and another street, again with every dwelling on it fall into and wash away into the ocean.
I’ve been chatting with friends there keeping me updated on whats going on. The only highway on and off the Island has been cut in 2 AGAIN, AND there was never any evacuation orders put out beforehand. There’s apparently many tourists still in town because of the lack of evacuation orders. I’m sure the local officials are gonna catch hell in the aftermath for this.
Obama has to be worried. These are Blue state voters. Even the threatened part of VA (North)is Blue. If Philly loses power that might limit a lot of fraud.
Any thoughts on the possibility of Obama taking the next few dyas for photo ops in NC and VA, delivering cash, setting up trailers, the whole nine yards, and actually getting a swing back to him? Possibly getting the “aww, gee whiz he’s the greatest” votes in record numbers?
The Federal Emergency Mammary Analog will be on the scene to hand out monopoly money as fast as they can print it.
The pictures from Virginia are quite normal after a hard rain. There is nothing unusual about them. The tunnels in Norfolk almost always have to close and streets are flooded in weather that is not even close to hurrican or tropical storm intensity.
Sorry but if they make me have to watch an advertisment first they don’t get my view. If you don’t have viewers you have nothing to sell to the advertisers. They need to wise up.
Looks like Ottos Sea Food Grill has cut out the middle man and has the days catch delivered right to the front door...CAPITALISM is great!
I want my Gov’t cheese!
Poseur and a photo-op; one of many to come before Nov 6th. He could give a crap. POS.
After Katrina, they don’t hand out cash. Just credit/debit cards. Doesn’t that make you feel better. Many charges showed up at strip clubs and casinos. Safer than cash. LOL
