What Keane said was nauseating. He stated that we allow soldiers to die in Afghanistan by denying them air support because of the chance of collateral damage. He implied that Benghazi was analagous. WTF ever happened to NO MAN GETS LEFT BEHIND?
Was Keane implying we did not use a drone or other air support in Benghazi because we wanted to avoid collateral damage?
This was my original thought on the WH strategy. However, I heard that we suffered huge intelligence damage, and lost huge amounts of intelligence info.
I’m wondering why the WH didn’t do something to damage the consulate enough to destroy all information. We already know the WH doesn’t value our human life, but does value our enemies’ lives.... but what about protecting our intelligence?
