Often or should I say almost always an organization’s actions are just an extnsion of the personal beliefs of its principals. Examine them on a personal eve land you will find the true motives behind their actions.
This is not about the ACLUs noble desire to defend the Constitution and uphold the First Amendment. This is about the ACLUs quest to obliterate any mention of the God of all creation from our nations public institutions. This hellish mission of the ACLU bears no resemblance to the intentions of our Founding Fathers who crafted the First Amendment to reiterate our God-given rights to freely worship, to speak, to assemble and to petition our government for a redress of grievances.
And yet, the ACLU regularly wins in Court. Using precisely this argument: that there is a seapration of Church and State, ruling after ruling has flown in the face of the actual words of the 1st ammendment, until it is the de facto law of the land.
I’d love for it not to be so but its never is any differnet.
Indeed, courts are finding too that you cannot opt out of homosexual instruction because because for some reason you have no right to object.
We need a reset folks...first get rid of zero and his clown posse then make Mitt work from the right and turn the last 90years of this country’s history around. Won’t happen but at least I dream...
Mississippi is the wrong venue for the ACLU to run with this - even the teachers are unafraid to express their belief in God. The ACLU may as well try to pee up the proverbial rope.
They got their way here in Desoto county MS. We lost the right to pray.
We were going to combat it by having a stadium wide moment of silence at a certain time. It was highly advertised with flyers and a local Christian radio station’s help. But the loud bosterious ones talked right through it.
We do say under God in the pledge still. wonder how long before they come after that?
Seeing examples of the majority culture in America is absolutely natural and expected.
My argument against the ACLU.
We Exist. Grow up and live with it.
That’s the proper message to courts and judges, too.
Don’t act surprised at seeing us. We exist.
