The Conservative Party ran conservative Doug Hoffman 4 Congress, when the Republican Party in the district wanted the very liberal Republican Dede Scozzafava.

But when a Republican I like runs on both the Republican line, and the Conservative Party line, I vote for that candidate under the Conservative Party line. No, they are not perfect, but usually far better than the NY GOP.

btw, Sen. Diaz is a strong social conservative.

I’ll respect the Conservative Party when they support making NY a Right to Work state, stop endorsing RINOs for patronage, and rid themselves of the Longs.

They ran Doug Hoffman when the GOP in that district ran the VERY RINO, Dede Scozzafava. btw, you may have heard that Sarah Palin endorsed Doug Hoffman.
