Back to Libya and the Blame Game (former State Dept Employee - A MUST READ)

It seems that the facility in Benghazi was one of those "cheaters." It is not clear what that facility was, and how it was classified. It is not listed as a consulate. Who had primary responsibility for that facility? Was it, as some press reports have indicated, primarily a CIA listening post? Was it something else? As I have noted before,

The facility in Benghazi was not a regular consulate despite what the press has been saying. It is not clear what exactly that facility was--it does not appear on the Embassy Tripoli website or in the State Department's list of consulates--but appears to have been operated on the bureaucratic sly to enable it to avoid expensive and time-consuming security requirements. The Near East (NEA) head, the Diplomatic Security (DS) head, the Undersecretary for Management (M), the Deputy Secretary (D), and the Secretary of State (S), and, of course, the CIA Director, and the head of the NSC, knew this, or should have, and should be fired--if they did not, they also should all be fired. Any investigation must focus on what functions the facility performed, and what risk assessment had been made; in other words, what were the pros and cons of running this place? Was it worth the risk of operating it under the conditions it did?

“The master of the double deal is Undersecretary for Management Kennedy, whom I have known for twenty years. Whatever he says in front of the committee, which will be a “sort of” defense of the Department and White House leadership in the Benghazi fiasco, you can be sure that behind the scenes he and his acolytes are throwing Clinton, Rice, etc., under the bus. He is not about to go down in flames alone. He will not throw himself on the grenade to save Clinton and Rice and Obama. If he dies, they die, too.”

Pret' near.

This morning we have Axelrod on Wallace. He's talking like he's the Chief of Staff ~ but he's not. Wallace just nailed him in an attempt to misdirect.

What this means is simple ~ nobody from State, intelligence, White House, or whatever will speak on behalf of Obamagube on the Lybian deal.

They aren't giving anyone permission to do that either.

Remember, Axelrod's mother worked for I.F.Stone and he worked directly for Joseph Stalin. That crowd have an asset in Obama and they are going to lose it in the election.

Good stuff. I like the statement that in a battle between Foggy Bottom and Chicago - Foggy Bottom wins

The politically correct institutional insanity of the far Left is well ingrained within the State Department in it’s permanent employees. There are not innocent victims in this incident and they were all involved in creating it. National suicide/murder is the result of globalism’s political correctness.

It makes sense to some degree. The mother of “Sean”, who was one of the four murdered, was on Janine Pirro’s show yesterday. I think I heard her say that she didn’t know he was there — didn’t know where he was, exactly. I could be wrong, but I think she said that. That doesn’t seem typical for a normal consulate or embassy.

No wonder they didn't know what was going on .... there aren't enough Deputy Assistants and Under Secretaries involved ... the bureaucracy isn't bloated enough.

The site who must not be named ( I call it the Voldemort of Free Republic) said that there would be a concentrated effort over the next 72 hours to bring to to the forefront of the American Public so that it could be a part of the debate Tuesday.

I hope Romney brings it.

I wish Mitt would take on the MSM moderator, if she tries to protect Obama with timely “new topics.”

He should address Crowley and the audience and say, “No, I’m sorry, but I’m not finished talking about an issue of vital national security. Free birth control might be important to you, Monica, but it’s not an issue that poses a grave immediate danger to the United States. So I’m going to continue to talk about Behghazi and I won’t be taken off topic.”

Thanks for the thread ping. I’ve been over there but I need to catch up.

It’s important to uncover the lies, liars and the attackers after the fact and to me, it’s important to understand the misreading of the danger in Libya prior to the attack. More likely, our government ignored it for other priorities than protecting the Americans there. What those priorities and are they endangering the homeland and our allies, too?

This is an ongoing problem in the American government. The same mentality of divided loyalities got us attacked on 9/11/01 and places us on course for another major attack on American soil. Worse, that mentality is murdering our soldiers on their bases and there is hardly a peep about the betrayal.

Are we being sacrificed at some elitist altar of National betrayal - globalism? Americans did not sign up to be murdered by our government for the greater glory of globalism. No one voted to be enslaved and murdered for the elite’s ideal of integrating Islam. It is not a religion of peace and it rejects freedom. We are feeding the insanity our blood rather than cutting it off and thereby killing it directly or isolating it to murder itself.

So a major question that must be answered is, given we had two attacks on the ambassador prior to the murder and given we had intellegence the ambassador was in huge danger, (the ambassador asked for protection and was rejected) what was more important to the US government (all the agencies and employees involved) than the ambassador’s life? What is more important to these freaks of nature than all our lives?

I know you know all this. :) It’s for awareness and discussion on the thread.

From another thread...someone postulated that this was a set up...

Take the embassy staff hostage and so Obambi gets to negotiate a nice settlement and release of hostages in exchange for the Blind Sheik...

However the locals over reacted and killed them all...

leaving Obambi and others scrambling to cover up.

One important equation to that deal may have been the missing arms that can take down an airliner. The one thatcould find their way into a fight with Israel.
