Good thing about the Arab Fall riots is they remind Americans they were stupid for supporting Hussein in the first place.
And those who remember, Carter.
Sane people should be disappointed that Obama apologized for the first Amendment: Something a president promises as he is sworn into office.
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

It may change a few minds, but for the most part, do you really think the empty-headed masses are even paying attention? They don't have a clue why events overseas have ramifications to this country.
If, however, someone could sit them down, and in very basic, simple terms convince them the terror attacks in Benghazi affected their ability to buy beer, watch their favorite reality show or get a tattoo, it might focus their little minds. But until then, events in faraway lands, even if they include gruesome deaths of Americans, are way too distant and abstract. I'm convinced that's why Romney and the GOPers have a more difficult time with voters than the condescending dems. Romney speaks to people as adults and the subject matter sails over most Americans' heads. Obama, on the other hand, talks at them like children, keeping things very simple, all the while offering treats along the way.
