IARDC says they are both voluntarily inactive/retired. I dislike these two, but I’ve seen the online records of attorneys who have been disbarred in Illinois; these two aren’t.
If an attorney under investigation or disciplinary proceedings “resigns” or “voluntarily turns in his/her license” is that indicated somehow? An asterisk, perhaps?
The “story” is that O falsified his bar application when he answered “no” to the question have you ever been known by another name (alias)?
The “story” on Mooch-elle is that she was being investigated for some kind of fraud, insurance fraud, etc., so resolved it by turning in her resignation.
This is not normal for either of them to just cash in their chips.
