I think there was a complete misrepresentation of what was said. They didn’t say they would cease to support family, life, or Christian charities. They said they would not support organizations SPECIFICALLY DEDICATED to opposing gay marriage. There are only a few small organizations that fit that description, and I doubt whether they supported them in the first place.
I wouldn’t advise anyone to believe what the left wing press says, especially since they twist their language when talking about anything gay.
And exactly why shouldn’t they support organizations that want to stop gay marriage? EVERY OTHER CORPORATION that has weighed in on the issue gives its profits to weirdo organizations dedicated to shoving it down our throats. No outcry. No nothing.
Focus on the Family is not “dedicated” to opposing homosexual “marriage.” That organization existed long before this even became a ballot issue, as a ministry to support spouses/parents in living a Christian life.
