This could be used to describe a large number of liberal politicians. They want the rest of us to be homogeneous, without the freedom to distinguish or differentiated ourselves from ‘the masses’ by our personal efforts. On the other hand, they all, every single one of them, are drawn to politics because they are emotionally immature people who just have to be special. I’ve never in my life seen a more vast array of hypocrites than those who run for public office - and in particular those liberals who are drawn to political activism.
