Texas is easier on the wallet compared to many other places.
A little too hot in summer, stinging skeeters, fireants and the clay soil in our area is awful. Have to keep it moist or it dries, cracks and heaves the homes foundations.
Think I want to find a mountainous home with a babbling brook running behind it is on my wishlist.
